Hardshell Jackets

A non-insulated jacket that has a waterproof and breathable membrane. Look for three-layer construction. It must have a hood, that ideally fits over a helmet. When sizing, make sure it can fit over your other base layers. Ski jackets are discouraged because they are usually not waterproof and have heavy insulation.
