Glacier Sunglasses for AAI Pacific Northwest Programs

Glacier sunglasses need to have a wraparound design and/or have side shields for added sun protection. The lenses should not let more than 12% of visible light through, in addition to blocking 100% of ultraviolet (UV) light. Look for category 4 (CAT 4) rated glasses. Photochromic lenses are more expensive but are usable in a much wider range of light, and for many people are well worth the cost.

NOTE: Those using contacts should also bring a pair of prescription glasses in the event that your contacts or solution are lost or damaged. If you only use glasses, look for a pair of over-the-glasses glacier glasses.

The following models are Guides Choice Approved for AAI's Pacific Northwest glacier programs.
